Actress Nimra Khan has landed herself in trouble after sharing her skincare routine which irked social media users.
The actress-turned-model was recently invited as a guest on Mashion, where she shared her skincare routine which backfired the actress.
The actress started her skincare routine by using coconut tapping for her face, followed by wet wipes. Without completely wiping out the oil residue, she then applied the moisturizer without even washing her face.
She then applied all her remaining products and was ready to go out, just like that. The thing that was quite noticeable was that the actress only used products that were very expensive and famous.
Moving on, this bizarre skincare routine was enough to irk many social media users as they found that not washing your face after wiping over an oil is unhygienic.
First of all, Soul Food products which the actress used on her skin have generally quite negative reviews.
Secondly, coconut oil is comedogenic, there is a reason people use water-based products like micellar water or some astringent to remove makeup and impurities.
Johnson’s products whose wipes the actress used to clean the residue, are tested to have carcinogenic properties.
Many of the social media users complained that the actress didn’t even wash her face after the oil cleanse.
