The Batman: Part Two aka The Batman sequel starring British superstar Robert Pattinson to start filming this August 2024.
Two weeks ago, DC head James Gunn had stated that no script had been submitted yet to him — a deadline has now been officially set for early February script submission, with casting to follow soon afterwards. The film is set to be theatrically released on October 3, 2025.
English actor Robert Pattinson filled Batman‘s titular role, suiting up as both The Dark Knight and his billionaire alter-ego, Bruce Wayne. However, The Batman 2 will feature Robert Pattinson as the Caped Crusader. On the work front, Pattinson’s next big screen project is the 2024 sci-fi joint Mickey 17.
Based on The Batman’s ending, if the sequel chooses to continue with the plot of Gotham City being flooded, then either Mr. Freeze or Killer Croc could become the main threat to Pattinson’s Dark Knight. Alternatively, Barry Keoghan’s Joker could also return in a big way, taking the place of his friend, The Riddler, as the main villain of The Batman – Part II.
