Pakistan Navy Engineering College’s Formula student team join hands with Tesla

The Pakistan Navy Engineering College’s Formula Student team has joined hands with Tesla in its innovation endeavor.

Tesla, the world leader in the field of electric vehicles (EVs) will provide Formula Electric Racing NUST (FERN) with technical assistance, technology sharing, and key components for EV development through this partnership.

With this achievement, FERN has now become the first and only educational institute to work collaboratively with one of the world’s most recognizable names (Tesla) in the automotive industry.

FERN is a Formula Student team from Pakistan Navy Engineering College, one of the constituent colleges of NUST. The team has been working in electric propulsion since 2016.

It has had the distinct honor of competing in five Formula Student competitions on behalf of Pakistan and earning the country’s lone podium finish.

The group is currently creating a number of internal parts that it intends to incorporate into forthcoming iterations of the vehicle.
