A 13-year-old Hindu girl named Kavita Bai has been married to a Muslim man after being abducted and forcibly converted in Kashmore district.

A teenager Kavita Bai was allegedly kidnapped by a man of the Bahalkani tribe. A Barelvi cleric named Mian Mithoo forcibly converted her religion and then married off to her kidnapper.

The incident took place in the Tangwani Taluka of  Sindh. According to local media, the girl was kidnapped by five men from her home on 8th March. Her father said that five armed men dragged his daughter from their home to a white vehicle and sped away. An FIR has been filed in the matter.

However, the teenager reportedly appeared before a court on Wednesday and claimed that she was over 18 years old. After her statement, she was shifted from Kashmore to Ghotki as she alleged that she had married against the wishes of her parents.

She has also sought protection from the court. Despite her claim, the police have filed a case under the Sindh Child Marriage Restraint Act which makes a marriage between an adult and a minor punishable by up to three years of imprisonment.

A medical examination is likely to be ordered to determine her real age. The video of the conversion ceremony has also gone viral on social media and people have reacted to it.

What the hell they will get by doing this? This is a sin. They think that they will go to Jannat by doing this.
No any education is required for these mullas. They are well educated in Quoran.

This seems like a big achievement. Religion should be everyone’s personal matter, no one should be influenced and forced to any decision. Pak is surely striving ahead to its 100% Islamisation.
Still.. it will starve, struggle, be scattered amongst themselves.

I SERIOUSLY wanna ask these ppl wat they’ll get by this ? I mean do they think their God will actually give them 72 virgins for forcing their religion down another’s throat ?Y can’t they just live and let live in peace !! How do they sleep at night ? Do they feel pride or disgust
