Taylor Swift has surprised fans with the release of a new original song titled “I Knew It, I Knew You”, featured in Disney and Pixar’s upcoming film Toy Story 5.
The 14-time Grammy Award winner dropped the track on June 5, marking another high-profile collaboration in her career.
Alongside the release, Swift shared a nostalgic home video on X and Instagram showing her as a young child wearing a cowboy hat, boots, and a denim skirt while dancing, an early nod to the country-inspired themes reflected in the new song.

The track is set to appear on the official Toy Story 5 soundtrack when the film releases on June 19. It reunites Swift with longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff, who co-wrote and co-produced the song, while Antonoff’s band Bleachers also contributes to the production.
Inspired by Jessie, the iconic cowgirl introduced in Toy Story 2, the song blends storytelling-driven country influences with Swift’s signature pop sound, highlighting an emotional and cinematic tone suited to the franchise.
The release follows days of anticipation fueled by teaser campaigns, a countdown on Swift’s website, and “TS” billboards appearing in major cities worldwide.
