Actor Yasir Hussain has recently slammed social media users who had major issues with Mahira Khan who took part in a protest to support Palestine without wearing a ‘dupatta’.
Yasir Hussain took to Instagram stories and shared a screenshot of the social media users mocking Mahira Khan for not wearing a dupatta in a protest. “Very good”, said Yasir sarcastically. According to him, people would wear shorts in summer but Mahira has to wear a dupatta scorching heat,” Hussain pointed out caustically.
According to Yasir Hussain, people should start talking about real issues like the Palestine-Israel conflict instead of pointing or caring about someone’s clothing or their absence of dupatta.

Wearing a monochrome kurta, Mahira khan along with other celebrities gathered in a protest being held in Karachi to express solidarity with the people of Palestine. The social media users instead of highlighting the Palestine issue or appreciating the actress for her act decided to mock her over her attire.
As shared in a story, one of the users have asked the actress where her dupatta is and another wrote how can she not wear a dupatta publically as the user herself always wears it even at home. Holding a “Free Palestine” placard at the demonstration, Mahira was among the protesters who expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine.
