BRISBANE: Bangladesh set a target of 151 runs for Zimbabwe in their second match of Super 12 clash of ICC Men’s T20 World Cup being played in Brisbane here on Sunday.
Earlier, Bangladesh after winning the toss opted to bat first against Zimbabwe.
Batting first, Bangladesh scored 150 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. A knock of 71 runs off 55 balls by Najmul Hossain Shanto helped Bangladesh post 150 for seven in 20 overs. Meanwhile, Richard Ngarava and Blessing Muzarabani bagged two-wicket hauls for Zimbabwe.

Shakib Al Hasan scored 23 off 20 with one boundary, Afif Hossain scored 29 off 19 hitting one four and one six and Litton Das scored 14 off 12 with three fours.
For Zimbabwe, Richard Ngarava and Blessing Muzarabani bagged two wickets each while Sikandar Raza and Sean Williams took one wicket each.
It is pertinent to mention here that fresh from their stunning last-gasp, one-run upset over Pakistan, a win for a confident Zimbabwe would put them top of Group 2.
