Indian claims of surgical strike were a joke, says FM Qureshi

ISLAMABAD: Indian claims of carrying out surgical strike in Pakistan were a joke, said Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi on Monday.

While speaking to a local news channel, the foreign minister also said, “They promoted this propaganda because of some political motivations.”

Mr Qureshi further added, “Indian atrocities in Indian occupied Kashmir has showcased the true face of their democracy.”

He claimed that their ceasefire violation highlights Indian hypocritical policies.

While giving his opinion on on-going Kashmir tensions, he added, “Kashmir is not internal matter of India. Their stance on current crisis in the valley has been rejected by world as well.”
