ISLAMABAD: Beef exports from Pakistan have reached $24.8 million.
Pakistan will also need to invest in advanced processing facilities and technologies to maintain the quality and freshness of frozen meat. In 2020, the global beef trade was worth $54 billion.
According to the data, beef exports reached $24.8 million during February 2023, showing an increase of 2 percent compared to $24.3 million during the same period in 2022.
According to a Wealth Pak report, the global demand for frozen meat could be an opportunity for Pakistan as it is one of the largest producers and exporters of meat, especially beef, in the world.

Pakistan’s export-oriented meat processors have a significant opportunity to tap into the Chinese market, which is the largest importer of frozen beef. To capitalize on this thriving market, Pakistani meat processors need to diversify into other meat segments, especially frozen boneless beef.
