The Sunni Ulema Council of Pakistan has issued a warning, saying that protests will be staged at 60 locations across Karachi if the ongoing demonstration by the Majlis Wahdat-e-Muslimeen (MWM) is not concluded within 24 hours.
Led by Allama Muhammad Ahmed Ludhianvi, the council expressed its support for the decisions of the Apex Committee, calling for a decisive operation in Parachinar, located in Kurram Agency. They demanded the disarmament of individuals and the arrest of criminals without prejudice.
In a press conference held at Jamia Masjid Rahmani in Islamabad, Ludhianvi, along with Allama Ghazi Aurangzeb Farooqui and other scholars, addressed the media.

The council reiterated its threat to organize sit-ins at 60 sites in Karachi if the MWM protests are not resolved within 24 hours, warning that this could escalate into a nationwide issue.
The council also called for an investigation into the origins of the weapons used in the violence, alleging that Iran and India are behind the unrest in Parachinar, where Sunni civilians are being targeted, properties and markets destroyed, and innocent lives lost. They claimed that Iranian-manufactured weapons are being used in these attacks.
The council condemned what it described as a foreign conspiracy to stir sectarian conflict in Pakistan.
