Though, Saba and Bilal in the caption clarified that “This is also the only sequence that was shot at the historical Wazir Khan Mosque” and is a prologue to the music video, the teaser did not go down well with the audiences who called out the actor and singer for hurting religious sentiments.

Another social media user said the house of God should be kept clean from such nonsense and such an act should not only be condemned but also strongly discouraged.
Ali Muhammad Khan (@Ali_MuhammadPTI) August 8, 2020
More users came forward and criticized the new trend of shooting musical videos in the mosques across the country:
Such a wrong act done by both #BilalSaeed and #SabaQamar
They shouldnt have shoot the song in the mosque
Now all these so called statment that we maintain the decorum are just lame excuses
All they want was attention and they get
And such a cheap way To get attention— Faisal (@fazey114) August 9, 2020
