KARACHI: A Sindh government spokesperson has declared Mustafa Kamal’s statement as irresponsible. Spokesperson Gauhar Khan Asrani said that Mustafa Kamal is fueling racism for cheap fame.

Reacting to the statement of the former mayor of Karachi, the spokesperson of the Sindh government said that Mustafa Kamal was promoting the fear of insecurity. “First Mustafa Kamal made statements against Chairman NAB and then against the Judiciary and apologized for both statements,” he said.

Sindh government spokesperson said that MQM leader Mustafa Kamal should not scare the citizens of Karachi, political tricks of the past cannot fool the people of today. The demand to arm the citizens is childish and tantamount to demoralizing the forces. This is not a solution to security problems.

Asrani said that to prevent crimes, it is necessary to eliminate their root causes, which include poverty, inflation, lack of education, and unemployment. Even before the abolition of the quota system, the rights of the marginalized will be exploited and undermined.
