KARACHI: Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah on Wednesday led a joint rally in Karachi to observe Kashmir Day and condemn Indian atrocities against Kashmiris in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
The rally was attended by people from all walks of life led by Sindh Governor Imran Ismail and Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah from Kashmir Road to the mausoleum of the Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah.
Addressing the rally-organized by the Sindh government, Governor Imran Ismail said Pakistan has been extending moral, political and diplomatic support to the people of Kashmir and would continue to do so till they get their just right of self-determination.
Pakistan wishes a peaceful solution to the issue in consonance with UN resolutions and the aspirations of the Kashmiri people. The United Nations and international community must take notice of Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir and take cognizance of the plight of innocent Kashmiris, the governor added.
On this occasion, Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has said that every part of the society participated in the rally and committed to continue their support until the Kashmir issue resolved.
