RAWALPINDI: England’s player Joe Root has said that the game plan of his team is simple, go and smack it.
Addressing a news conference in place of Ben Stokes at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, who was reported ill, Joe Root siad he won’t be England captain if Stokes was sick, adding that top three could be McCullum, Trescothick and Key.
His presser came after reports that approximately 13 to 14 members of the touring party were affected by the illness, with around half of that number members of the playing squad, by what had been believed to be a bug or virus rather than Covid.
