Possibility of sudden cardiac death

One of the most popular winners of Bigg Boss was reportedly brought dead to the hospital on 2nd September. Initial reports indicate that he died of a heart attack, but the cause of death would be ascertained after post mortem, a senior doctor spoke to Hindustan Times.

A doctor named Lekha Pathak that heart attacks are common in individuals with irregular lifestyles or heavy smoking.  The doctor maintained that the high stress level could also be one of the most common triggering factors for the actor’s heart attack.

Sidharth Shukla once told his co-contestant during Bigg Boss show that he used to smoke a lot, however, the actor shared that he had quit smoking.

Smoking and sudden cardiac arrest

Indian doctor named Narayan Gadkar explained to Hundustan Times, “Smoking can indeed kill you. The arteries of the heart are covered by a smooth paint or coating that prevents blood clots. Smoking erodes the paint and the smooth surface becomes rough. When this happens, we call it a plaque erosion or plaque rupture. How it happens is that blood cannot differentiate between an internal or an external injury. When you get an injury outside, there is a blood clot to prevent blood loss. When there is the erosion of plaque, due to smoking or other reasons, blood feeling irregularity in the artery, starts to clot and could lead to a sudden heart attack.”

To whom Shukla last spoke?

Another Indian TV actor Karan Kundra was the last person the deceased actor spoke to last evening. Karan, who spoke with Sidharth over the phone, wrote in disbelief: “Shocking.. just last night we were talking about how well you’re doing.. can’t believe! Gone to soon buddy gone too soon RIP will remember you always smiling.. extremely sad.”
