UMERKOT: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice President and parliamentary party leader in Sindh assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh after approval of his protective bail from Sindh High Court appeared before the Sessions’ Court Umerkot, which also granted him bail.
Later, talking to media Sheikh said that he had gone to Kunri to offer funeral prayers of the martyrs of Tezgam train fire incident where a lift attempt was made upon him on the behest of provincial minister Nawab Taimoor Talpur, SSP Aijaz Sheikh and others.
He said, “My case was not registered by the police and I have to knock the door of the court, and later a case was lodged against opponents”. He said he used to travel in whole Sindh including Larkana, Nawabshah, Dadu and Sehwan, but he was never attacked in any other area.
He asked the Sindh chief minister to muzzle his lackeys and not create no-go areas in Sindh for opposition leaders.
He said this tradition if introduced would not benefit anyone. He said he would always continue to raise voice for people of Sindh and his voice could never be suppressed.
