ISLAMABAD: The District and Sessions Court Islamabad has ordered the initiation of proceedings against Tehreek-e-Insaaf leader Shahbaz Gill in the sedition case.
The Additional Sessions Judge also ordered the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to arrest Shahbaz Gill immediately. The court also ordered the chairman of NADRA to block the identity card of Shahbaz Gill.
The court said that Shahbaz Gill deliberately did not want to proceed with the trial of the case and that the advertisement should be pasted outside the residence of Shehbaz Gill in Islamabad and Faisalabad.

The court also ordered Deputy Commissioner Faisalabad and Islamabad to submit the report of Shahbaz Gill’s property within 30 days. During the hearing, a police report on the non-bailable warrant of Shahbaz Gill was also submitted to the court.
The police said that they tried to arrest Shahbaz Gill as per the warrant, but Gill deliberately went to America to avoid compliance with the warrant. The court has called for the declaration proceedings and other reports on July 26.
