The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the ambassadors for the Champions Trophy 2025.
Former Pakistan cricket team captain Sarfaraz Ahmed has been appointed as an ambassador for the event. Under Sarfaraz’s leadership, Pakistan won the Champions Trophy in 2017.
Alongside Sarfaraz, former Indian cricketer Shikhar Dhawan and New Zealand fast bowler Tim Southee have also been appointed as ambassadors.
According to an ICC announcement, former Australian all-rounder Shane Watson will also serve as an ambassador for the Champions Trophy.
The Champions Trophy 2025 matches will be held in Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
The event will kick off on February 19 in Karachi and conclude on March 9.
