ISLAMABAD: Scholar Sahil Adeem has approached the Islamabad High Court to seek protective bail amid fears of arrest in multiple cases registered against him in Karachi and other cities.
According to details, Sahil Adeem appeared before the Islamabad High Court after concerns emerged that he could be arrested in connection with several ongoing cases lodged across different jurisdictions.
Through his counsel, Sahil Adeem has formally filed a petition requesting protective bail from the court. The plea states that due to the sensitive nature of the matter and an immediate risk of arrest, the court should hear the application on an urgent basis.
The petition further argues that cases have been registered against him in Karachi and other cities across Pakistan. It maintains that he is willing to face legal proceedings and appear before relevant courts; however, there is a fear that he may be arrested before he can reach the respective jurisdictions.
Sahil Adeem has requested the court to grant him protective bail for a reasonable period, allowing him to appear before the concerned courts in different provinces and defend himself in accordance with the law.
