Utilizing technical data, human intelligence, and surrounding surveillance, police apprehended the duo within 24 hours. Authorities recovered Rs 2.9 million of the stolen money, and investigations continue to trace the remaining amount.

Last week, a bank robbery attempt was foiled in Karachi’s Central district after the branch alarm was activated, forcing three armed suspects including one disguised in a burqa to flee without stealing any cash, police said.

During the robbery attempt, the bank’s operations manager, Farukh, activated the emergency alarm. As the siren sounded, the three suspects panicked and abandoned the robbery. Bank employees also took cover beneath their desks amid the chaos.
