Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori has distributed financial aid of Rs. 40 million to deserving individuals this year, as announced by the Governor House during a ceremony.
According to a report by Pak Observer on Tuesday, Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori announced this while distributing cheques to recipients, reaffirming his commitment to public service and welfare.
The deserving individuals had applied for assistance through “Umeed Ki Ghanti” installed at Gate No. 1 of the Governor House, seeking support for various needs including small businesses, children’s education, and daughters’ weddings.
While welcoming the attendees of the ceremony, Governor Sindh expressed his dedication and hope to assist the underprivileged. During the ceremony, cheques were given to 82 persons with amounts between 20,000 and 100,000.
On an occasion during the ceremony, the Governor highlighted that Rs. 40 million has been distributed this year in terms of financial aid, more than 850,000 ration bags were provided to deserving families, and 3.5 million visitors are welcomed at the Governor House.
