All Punjab government employees will get their salaries on March 26, well before Eidul Fitr.
All employees are being given advance salary. This advance salary is being given so they can fully participate in Eid celebrations.
In this regard, the Punjab Finance Department issued a notification on Wednesday.
Earlier, the Sindh government has announced an advance payment of salaries, pensions, and allowances ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr, ensuring financial relief for employees before the festive occasion.
According to an official notification, the salaries for March will be disbursed on March 21 instead of the usual date of April 1. Similarly, pensions and allowances will also be paid on March 21.
Sindh Finance Secretary Fayyaz Jatoi has issued directives to all provincial departments and institutions to implement the decision.
The move aims to facilitate government employees and pensioners, allowing them to make necessary preparations for Eid-ul-Fitr without financial constraints.
