Roti price increased in Lahore

LAHORE: The Naan Bai Association on Tuesday announced to increase the prices of 100-gram roti by Rs10 to Rs25.

The Association’s urgent meeting made the decision. The association’s office holders claim that new charges will take effect on Thursday or Friday. The group attributed the rise to a rise in the price of flour.

They said that the association would decrease the roti price if government provided them the flour free of cost. “We have left no other option but to increase the roti price,” they added.
