MANCHESTER: Cristiano Ronaldo could be on the move this summer. According to The Times, the Portuguese forward has asked directors to let him leave Manchester United.
There has been speculation since the end of last season that Cristiano Ronaldo will leave Manchester United, and the latest reports suggest that this may be a reality.
The Portuguese is not at all happy about playing in the Europa League next season with the Red Devils and is looking for a way out.
His first option could be Bayern Munich, where he would replace Robert Lewandowski, who wants to go to Barcelona. The Bundesliga would be a new league for the striker.
PSG, Roma and Chelsea have also been linked to the forward. For now United were planning on counting on him for next season, in the Europa league, but Cristiano has asked to be let go, if a good offer arrives.
He wants to keep playing in the Champions League, in a competitive side, at 37 years old. He’s played in the competition for 19 years in a row and wants that to keep going.
He arrived in Manchester last summer from Juventus, and has a contract until 2023.
