KARACHI: Pakistan Rangers Sindh conducted an operation on Tuesday and arrested a wanted criminal who has allegedly confessed to involvement in over 400 cases.
Rangers conducted an operation near Old Golimar area and arrested a fugitive Danish alias Dani who was absconding in a murder case. According to a Rangers spokesperson, the suspect was involved in killing four people and also collected extortions in the marble market in Golimar.
The spokesperson said that during initial interrogation, the suspect has confessed to involvement in more than 400 criminal incidents in Karachi. The suspect was also a drug peddler while arms and other items were also recovered from his possession.
Earlier, Rangers had arrested a criminal linked with the Lyari gang war for threatening a local trader to pay extortions. On 7th December, the suspect had threatened a builder n Bahadurabad to pay extortion of Rs5 million. The suspect also confessed to opening fire at a shop in PIB Colony and was also involved in street crimes, robberies and other criminal activities.
