A high-level meeting was held at the LDA headquarters under the chair of the Chief Minister, during which she approved the project for the remodeling and beautification of MM Alam Road.
Under the project, a tram service will be launched in the Liberty, Main Market, Mini Market, and Hali Road areas. Additionally, adjacent areas will also be revamped.
The Chief Minister also approved a plan for a signal-free corridor from Kareem Block to the Motorway. The government is expected to announce the launch date soon, as the Maryam Nawaz-led administration believes in the quick completion of projects.
The administration will announce the ticket prices for the Lahore tram service after the project is launched.
