KARACHI: President of Muslim League-Functional Sindh Sadaruddin Shah Rashdi has said that MQM, PTI, and we are on one page regarding local body elections.
Sadaruddin Shah Rashdi that these three months are important. He said that they reject the PPP bill regarding the local government system in Sindh.
Elections are not possible so soon, he asserted. “Personally, I think that inflation is rampant in the country, the federal and provincial government will have to take steps to end inflation,” he maintained.
Talking to reporters after attending a meeting with district officials in Sukkur, Rashdi said that these days, anything could happen for the national interest at any time.
He said that the federal and provincial governments would have to take steps to curb inflation.

“We will give suggestions to the government regarding the Local Government Bill. If it is not implemented, then we will work out a plan of action together with the opposition parties,” he said.
He added. “The Sindh government is not strong at the moment. The PPP had earlier set up a rural and urban system but the move had to be withdrawn after protests by opposition parties.”
