ISLAMABAD: An Islamabad court on Monday accepted interim bail plea of the Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan, and asked him to submit surety bonds of Rs. 100,000.

The bail plea of Imran Khan was heard by Special Judge Central Raja Asif Mehmood. Imran’s lawyers argued that their client had approached this court on the directives of Islamabad High Court as his protective bail expires tomorrow.
They requested to restrain FIA from arresting PTI Chairman Imran Khan in prohibited funding case.
After hearing the plea, Judge Central Raja Asif Mehmood accepted plea and granted interim bail until October 31 for Rs.100,000 surety bonds.
