A fire broke out at a superstore in Karachi’s Gulshan-e-Iqbal area on Thursday afternoon.
According to media reports, fire tenders were dispatched to the scene. Fire brigade officials stated that the blaze originated in a flat on the top floor of the superstore. They confirmed that the fire has been brought under control and that the cooling process is now underway.
No casualties have been reported, according to rescue officials.
Last November, a massive fire erupted in a warehouse in Model Colony following a gas cylinder explosion, according to police and rescue services.

Rescue 1122 official Hassaan Khan told Dawn that several workers lived in the warehouse at Lasi Para in Moinabad. The fire reportedly started after a gas cylinder used for cooking exploded in the courtyard.
The blaze spread to two nearby residential homes, causing significant damage to their walls, rescue officials said.
