ISLAMABAD: Duke of Cambridge, Prince William did not only appreciate the role of Pakistan in the war on terror but he also paid tribute to people who sacrificed and built the country.
Sources said he made these heart-warming comments during a reception held at the Pakistan National Monument, adding Pakistan has made countless sacrifices including the loss of precious lives to hatred and terrorisms. The reception was hosted by British High Commissioner to Pakistan, Thomas Drew, in Islamabad.
Reports also revealed that the Prince acknowledged the unique bond between the two countries. He also assured that Pakistan and United Kingdom will continue to play the roles of key partners and friends.
The Duke of Cambridge agreed on carrying out joint efforts to tackle climate change.
Earlier, the Duke along with the Duchess of Cambridge arrived at the reception in a rickshaw with traditional art-work on it. Their entrance immediately caught attention on digital and social media.
