Prime Minister to attend Azadi Parade ceremony in Gilgit

PM to address public gathering in Skardu today
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan left for Gilgit today on Friday where he will attend Azadi Parade ceremony.
According to sources, the premier will visit monument of martyrs and lay floral wreathe as well.

PM Imran Khan is scheduled to hold meetings with the governor, chief minister along with other officials of Gilgit Baltistan, added sources.
During his visit, the PM will address a public gathering and inaugurate different development schemes.

Earlier on Thursday, while addressing to a ceremony in Islamabad, the PM said, the government wants to bring people out of poverty. The concerned officials initiated the Ehsaas Under Graduate Programme for this purpose.

It will facilitate the education of under-privileged children. PM also said that improving the education system is necessary for national development. The use of modern technology is inevitable to achieve sustainable development.
