Prices of petroleum products rise in United Arab Emirates

Prices of petroleum products have been increased in Pakistan as well as in the United Arab Emirates by 12 percent.

After the increase, the price of petrol has gone up to 4.63 dirhams per liter, or 257 Pakistani rupees. Following a 15% increase in the price of diesel, the price of diesel has been reduced to 4.76 dirhams per liter or 265 Pakistani rupees. In the UAE, oil prices have risen by more than 100% in four months.

It may be mentioned that the prices of petroleum products were also increased in Karachi after which the price of petrol increased by Rs 14.85 paise to Rs 248.74 per liter, while the price of high-speed diesel increased by Rs 13.23 paise to Rs 276.54 paise.
