KARACHI: The faithful have started preparations to celebrate Eid Miladun Nabi (S.A.W) to be held on 12th of Rabiul Awwal (30th October Friday), with great religious fervour.
According to details the mosques, homes and buildings across the metropolis with colourful lights and buntings are being decorated to express love with the Holy Prophet (S.A.W).
Special programs are being chalked out to highlight various aspects of the life of the last Prophet Mohammad (S.A.W). Muslims believe that Almighty Allah’s last Prophet (S.A.W) was born on this day as mercy on humanity.
Various religious, social and cultural organizations and Milad committees are also busy in finalizing various programs, including Mahfil-e-Naat and Seerat gathering. ‘Naat Khawani’ and processions are being planned by various social and religious organizations to express devotion.
Meanwhile, vendors have set up colourful stalls with various collections of badges, stickers, flags, and banners inscribed with religious slogans.
At night all private and public buildings are being beautifully illuminated with colored lights on this occasion to express jubilation over the sacred day.
