KARACHI: Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi on Saturday said that effective precautionary measures have been taken in ports across the country in order to avoid the possible spread of deadly novel coronavirus to Pakistan.
While speaking to media reporters, Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs Ali Zaidi said that crew members of ships coming from foreign countries were advised to remain on their vessel, he said that crew members will go through a complete screening procedure to avoid deadly coronavirus to Pakistan.

Earlier, as part of the health precautionary measures to stop the possible spread of the lethal coronavirus to Pakistan, the Ministry of Health ordered travelers to submit a health declaration form on arrival at the country’s airports.
Spokesperson Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said that each passenger will have to fill out a form comprising their brief history of travel and contact information.
