KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) MNA Qadir Mandokhail has called on the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) to hand over the finance and interior ministries to other coalition partners if it is unable to handle pressing issues.
In an interview aired on local TV network the other day, Qadir Mandokhail criticized the PMLN ministers for mishandling the IMF agreement and the arrest of Imran Khan. He also took aim at Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah and Punjab IGP for their handling of Imran Khan’s arrest.

The PPP MNA demanded an investigation against Finance Minister Ishaq Dar for his statement regarding IMF and nucler assets, and reaffirmed that the PPP would not compromise on the country’s nuclear and missile programs.
The PPP MNA also spoke out against Maryam Nawaz’s recent statement that it was not their government, even though her uncle was the prime minister of the country. Mandokhail noted that people cannot be fooled by such talk.

When asked to comment about Nawaz Sharif’s plan of return to Pakistan, he claimed that the PPP was getting stronger on the political front and that Nawaz Sharif’s absence was beneficial for the party.
The PPP leader opposed a proposed ban on the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). He criticized the lack of action being taken against Miftah Ismail for speaking out against government policies, citing Ismail’s business relationship with Shehbaz Sharif.
