FAISALABAD: Two policemen reportedly sexually assaulted a nurse in Faisalabad, it emerged on Friday.
A nurse, according to local police sources, was intercepted by two city police officers identified as Shujaat and Suhaib on Kanal Road in Samundari, Faisalabad.
The alleged assailants reportedly subjected her to sexual assault, before fleeing the scene. Upon receiving information, local law enforcement personnel swiftly acted, resulting in the arrest of the two accused.

The police registered a case under section 376 (punishment for rape) of the Pakistan Penal Code after the woman’s medical examination confirmed that she was raped.
The local superintendent of police visited the victim’s residence and assured her that justice would prevail.
