KARACHI: East police in an operation arrested 2 accused of drug dealer network from whose possession seven maunds of hashish was recovered.
According to details, on the orders of SSP East Qamar Raza Jaskani, Sachal police launched a major operation against the drug supply network. About 280 kg (7 maunds) of hashish was recovered from a white Corolla car.
Upon receiving a tip-off, the police party stopped a vehicle near Jamali Bridge, Super Highway and arrested two accused, Mohammad Irfan, 36, and Naseebullah. The suspects hid 248 packets of hashish in secret compartments inside the car.
Out of 248 packets of hashish, 280 kg was recovered. During the preliminary investigation, the accused said that drugs were supplied from Quetta and Pishin to different areas of Karachi.

The accused had earlier brought two vehicles to Karachi and supplied drugs. Two vehicles of the arrested accused supplied large quantities of drugs to different areas of Karachi. The car has a fake Islamabad number plate.
Police say the entire drug supply network of the accused has come to light. They will also arrest other accomplices of the death dealers who are being searched for. The arrested accused are under investigation for drug dealers.
