Police have identified the main suspects in the murder of TikToker Shamsoo Bibi, aka Ayesha Gilamana, who was gunned down in Taxila two days ago.
According to her father, police registered a case following the incident, but the suspects remain at large.
The victim’s father alleged that Ayesha was killed at the behest of her friends, Kashif, Kausar and Javed alias Shaheen.
He said his daughter left home after receiving a call from Kashif and was later shot dead by unidentified motorcycle riders.
According to the complainant, Ayesha had sold a plot to Kausar and Javed, and the suspects allegedly had her killed after she demanded payment.
Police said the three suspects named in the case are from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Lower Dir district. Ayesha was also originally from Dir and had moved to Taxila around seven or eight months ago. Raids are being conducted at various locations to arrest the suspects.
The FIR says that the victim’s brother told police that a man riding pillion on a motorcycle opened fire at their vehicle.
Ayesha was struck in the neck by a bullet, causing the car to lose control and crash into a dumper. Her father said his son could identify the suspects if they were brought before him.
