In Karachi’s Orangi Town, Mominabad area, a police officer shot a young man after a motorcycle collision. A video related to the incident has also surfaced, as reported by national media on Wednesday.
According to details, during an altercation in Orangi Town’s Mominabad, a police officer’s firing resulted in the death of one young man and injuries to another. In the footage, the police officer can be seen entering a street on a motorcycle with his friend.
The officer got off the motorcycle and began beating the young man. As people gathered, the officer pulled out his weapon and opened fire during a heated exchange, causing panic in the street.

As a result of the firing, the young man Faheem and his friend Anas were injured. Citizens tried to rush the wounded to the hospital, but Faheem succumbed to his injuries on the way.
Faheem’s family stated that he was a ward boy at a private hospital. According to them, two police officers and three individuals in plain clothes were involved in the shooting. A case has been registered at Mominabad Police Station on the complaint of the deceased’s father, Muhammad Yasin. However, none of the accused have been arrested so far. The family has demanded the immediate arrest and strict punishment of all involved.
It is worth noting that the tragic incident occurred yesterday in Tauheed Colony. Muhammad Yasin, the complainant, said the dispute arose after Faheem’s motorcycle collided with Ishtiaq’s. Ishtiaq, along with his associates, opened fire on Faheem, injuring both Faheem and his friend Anas. Faheem died before reaching the hospital.
According to police officials, the suspects named in the FIR include Ishtiaq, Asif, Zeeshan, Saqib, and Tanzil. The main suspect, Ishtiaq, who is a police officer posted at Azizabad Police Station, is currently on the run along with his accomplices, and efforts to locate them are ongoing.
