Indian actor and writer Kamal Rashid Khan has been arrested by Mumbai Police over the 2020 controversial tweets he made on late Bollywood actors Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan.
Famously known as KRK, the actor-critic often targets Bollywood actors and their movies and for that, he has already had multiple legal actions from multiple Bollywood stars.
Now, KRK has been arrested for his 2020’s tweets which he made on Rishi Kapoor Irrfan Khan. In the viral tweets, KRK can be seen lambasting Irrfan and Rishi. In fact, KRK went on to say call Irffan Khan ‘ghatiya aadmi (immoral man)’ even after his death.

An FIR was also registered against KRK in 2020 under various Indian Penal Code sections including 153 (wantonly giving provocation with intent to cause riot) and 500 (punishment for defamation), and provisions of the Information Technology Act, he said. The city police came to know about his arrival on Monday and immediately arrested him, the official said.
KRK was arrested by Malad Police. At first, KRK was detained at the airport and was arrested post questioning. The complaint was filed by Yuva Sena member Rahul Kanal. He will be produced today in Borivali court today.
