ISLAMABAD: The convoy of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s advisor and Muslim League (N) leader Amir Muqam has just escaped an attack.
Amir Muqam, while talking about the above incident, said that he was going to the inauguration of the NADRA office in Martung and that unidentified people opened fire on his convoy.
Police sources said in this regard that a search operation has been started in the area after the firing incident.
On the other hand, PM Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned the terrorist attack on Amir Muqam and ordered the immediate arrest of the attackers.
PM Shahbaz Sharif contacted Amir Muqam and said that thanks to Allah, Amir Maqam was safe in the attack.
The prime minister paid tribute to Amir Maqam’s spirit, bravery, and steadfastness, sought the welfare of Amir Maqam and expressed solidarity.
