ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has said upper parts of the country, including Rawalpindi and Islamabad, will receive more rains on Friday.
Pakistan Meteorological Department said in its daily report on Friday rain with thunderstorm is expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Punjab, Kashmir, Gilgit Baltistan and Upper Sindh during the next 12 hours.
It further stated heavy rainfalls; hailstorms are also likely at few cities in Kashmir, upper Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and northeast Balochistan.
PMD said heavy may cause flash flooding in local drains water while dust raising winds are probable in Sindh province including Karachi. On Thursday, Several people had lost their lives in different rain-related incidents in Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) said at least three children among five people dead eight other people were injured in KP as three houses were collapsed across the province.
Two children died as a rooftop of a house collapsed in the Jalala area of Mardan during windstorms and rainfall. Furthermore, a man was electrocuted to death at Eidgah road of Okara during the rainfall.
