ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit Lahore today to preside over various meetings during which he will have meetings with Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar and other provincial leaders.
According to details, the prime minister will arrive in Lahore today for a one-day official visit. The Punjab chief minister will brief the prime minister on the overall situation in the province, law, and order, and political and national affairs.
During his one-day visit to Lahore, PM Imran Khan will preside over various meetings in the Chief Minister’s House, including the Punjab Cabinet, and review the performance of the provincial government led by Usman Buzdar.
It may be recalled that Punjab Police has failed to curb the rising crime in the province including Lahore. Recently, a Christian citizen was killed by hitting a brick in a factory area in Lahore. A case has been registered against 9 named and 200 unknown accused.

Earlier, PM Imran Khan had taken stern notice of the death of a civilian in Mian Channu Tehsil of Khanewal District and demanded a report on the incident.
In a message on social networking site Twitter three days ago, PM Imran Khan said that any attempt by any individual or group to take the law into their own hands would not be tolerated.
