PESHAWAR: Prime Minister Imran Khan has urged overseas Pakistanis to raise their voice against Indian brutalities in occupied Kashmir and discriminatory policies against Muslims in India.
Addressing a function of overseas doctors, the prime minister while referring to the protests in India said the international community and human rights organisations have been criticising India for the controversial citizenship law.

He said the APPNA (Association of Physicians of Pakistani Descent of North America) is an influential and respected groups, urging the professional body to increase their efforts to counter the Indian lobby in the United States.
“Indian lobby in America right now is more powerful than Pakistan. India’s narrative overshadows Pakistan and American policies for Pakistan are affected by that viewpoint,” he explained.
“What India is doing right now in Kashmir and with Muslims is in violation of all humanitarian laws and international laws. In the 21st century, we are witnessing a fascist, racist government.

He said the Pakistan government is raising awareness in US and overseas doctors should also play their role. He urged to raise concerns to Kashmiris who have been suffering since the past five months.
PM Imran Khan also urged Pakistani-Americans to raise their voice for the controversial Citizen Amendment Act in India, which poses a danger as it puropose is to target Muslims. He urged the group to take advantage of its influence and strength in the US.
He warned India against a false flag operation in Azad Kashmir to divert attention from its own problems which he said will deteriorate further.
