PESHAWAR: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reached Tank District to visit flood-affected areas in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif was informed about the relief work for the flood victims in Tank. The prime minister directed to speed up relief and aid activities in the flood-affected areas along with increasing the aid amount to Rs10 lakh for the deceased’s family members.
On this occasion, PM Shehbaz Sharif said that work should be continued 24 hours for the rehabilitation of flood victims. The prime minister also praised the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration for taking a special interest in the relief work, saying that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government and the Chief Minister are doing good work for the flood victims.
He said that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government is doing good work in the health sector as well. “We should work diligently, people have to move forward by serving God, PM Shehbaz Sharif thanked the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa administration in Pashto,” he added.
Besides, the prime minister was told in the briefing that crops were destroyed and houses were damaged due to rains and floods in Tank and Dera Ismail Khan, Livestocks were also damaged due to rains and floods in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, NDM in flood-affected areas.

An army and local people are active in relief works, food is being distributed to the victims, three medical camps have also been established, medicines have been provided for water-borne diseases, Pakistan army, FC, Police, and Rescue 1122 participated in the relief work, the Prime Minister was also briefed on the arrangements for electricity, road maintenance, clean water supply.
It should be noted that Fazal-ur-Rehman was also with PM Shehbaz Sharif who said that we have 16 thousand acres of cultivable land, and water can be secured by building a dam in the tank.
