ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has called an important consultative meeting today in the current political situation.
The consultative meeting under the chairmanship of PM Shehbaz Sharif will be held today at his residence Model Town in which the senior leadership of the party including the vice president of PML-N Maryam Nawaz and federal ministers will participate.

Special Assistants and Attorney General will also attend the meeting while Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will give a briefing on the ongoing negotiations with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). Nawaz Sharif will also participate in the meeting from London through a video link.
In the meeting, the PTI leadership’s demands will be consulted, while Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will hold a detailed consultation regarding the negotiations.
On the other hand, the second round of talks between the ruling alliance and the PTI concluded last Friday, while the third and final round will be held at 11 am on Tuesday.
