PM Khan to arrive in Quetta on one-day visit tomorrow

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will arrive in Quetta tomorrow (Thursday) for a day-long visit where he will hold important meetings with Balochistan governor, chief minister and business community.
During his visit, the premier is scheduled to meet Balochistan Governor Amanullah Khan Yasinzai, Chief Minister Jam Kamal Khan and business community.
According to sources, the meetings will discuss the review of the ongoing coronavirus situation. A briefing will be given to the officials over medical issues faced by provincial doctors and tax relief package for affectees of COVID-19.
PM Khan will also review the steps taken by the Balochistan government to control the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
Earlier, Provincial Finance Minister Zahoor Buledi had announced that the Balochistan government had decided to provide a tax relief of Rs 1.5 billion amid COVID-19 lockdown.
Zahoor Buledi had said that key decisions were made during a cabinet meeting, including giving exemptions on infrastructure and sales tax on services.
