ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Imran Khan will leave for Lahore today for a one-day visit and will also have meetings with Chief Minister and Governor Punjab.
According to details, the prime minister will pay a one-day official visit to Lahore today. Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar will brief PM Imran Khan on the Sialkot incident.
During the briefing, the prime minister will be briefed on the progress made in the investigation into the death of a Sri Lankan national in the Sialkot incident.
During the one-day visit to Lahore, PM Imran Khan will also be briefed on the upcoming local body elections in Punjab. The Governor of Punjab will also brief PM Imran Khan on his visit to the United Kingdom. The prime minister will preside over various meetings during his visit to Lahore.

It may be recalled that earlier, the prime minister convened a meeting of the Federal Cabinet on Tuesday. The 15-point agenda will be considered in the meeting of the Federal Cabinet.
The federal cabinet will approve the establishment of an international air route between Pakistan and Tajikistan at a meeting on Tuesday. The cabinet meeting will consider allowing Afghan nationals to use Pakistani territory to travel to other countries.
