ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan has convened a meeting of the Federal Cabinet on January 18 for which a 14-point agenda has been issued.

The meeting of the Federal Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan will consider the situation of domestic, political, economic and coronavirus while the Cabinet will decide to give amnesty scheme to foreigners residing in Pakistan over time, repatriation of foreigners from Pakistan. The foreigners are being granted an amnesty scheme to get back to their country.

A summary of the amnesty scheme will be presented in the Cabinet session, the draft on Interfaith Harmony Policy will be submitted to the Cabinet for approval. Proposals for amendments to the Rules of Business will be tabled in the Cabinet. Approval of the CEO of KSSL is on the Cabinet agenda.

The issue of audit of First Women Bank is on the Cabinet agenda while notification of appointment of competent officer under Pakistan Essential Services Act is also part of the agenda. A summary on Pakistan s participation to UNTOC will be presented in the Cabinet.

The establishment of the Board of Directors of Pakistan Railways Freight Transportation Company is also included in the Cabinet agenda.

The issue of audit, through the Auditor General of Pakistan on the affairs of regulatory authorities, is on the agenda while the annual report of NEPRA for the year 2020-21 and State Industry 2021 will be presented in the Cabinet.
