PM arrives in Switzerland to attend Global Refugee Forum session

GENEVA: Prime Minister Imran Khan has arrived in Switzerland to attend the two-day session of the Global Refugee Forum.
It is a two-day session with the collaboration of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and the Swiss government.
Imran Khan was received by Permanent Representative of Pakistan to United Nations Geneva, Ambassador Khalil Hashmi and Representatives of Swiss Government and UN High Commissioner for Refugees at the airport.

Imran Khan will joint president the two-session which will be attended by the head of states of Turkey, Costa Rica, Ethiopia, Germany.
The Global Refugee Forum is the first major meeting on refugees of the 21st century.
The prime minister will articulate Pakistan’s perspective, experience, and contribution to the Afghan refugees.
On the sidelines of the forum, he will also meet global leaders and officials of the UN during his stay in Geneva. 
Earlier on Monday, Imran Khan visited Bahrain where he was awarded the country’s highest civil award by King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa.
